BoxLap was specifically created by surgeons, for surgeons. It focuses on developing the essential motor skills required for laparoscopic surgery, such as hand-eye coordination and instrument manipulation, by offering realistic tasks. It is dedicated to skill development with a wide range of modules, which are continuously expanded, and a community that supports your learning. BoxLap also features a compatible app that tracks your progress and helps you further improve your laparoscopic skills. Its unique ergonomic, portable design is made entirely in Greece.
Yes, BoxLap is committed to sustainability. We follow a make-on-demand approach, which helps minimize unnecessary CO2 emissions by avoiding mass production. Most of our components are produced in-house or sourced from local suppliers in Greece, reducing the carbon footprint associated with long-distance shipping. Additionally, our exercise modules are made from eco-friendly PLA material, further contributing to our environmentally conscious practices.
Pre-orders
When you pre-order BoxLap, you secure a unit at a discounted price. What’s included depends on the bundle you choose. You can view all three bundle options here.
Yes, pre-ordering BoxLap gives you access to an exclusive early-bird discount that won’t be available after the pre-order period ends, which will close once the limited stock at this special launch price is sold out. The discount is already included in each bundle price.
To reserve your bundle, you will need to pay 30% upfront, and the remaining balance before shipping. We will inform you via email when it’s time to complete the second payment.
For the first round of pre-orders we only support shipping within the geographical region of Greece, with plans to expand to more countries soon! Stay tuned for updates as we work to bring BoxLap to your doorstep, wherever you are.

The estimated delivery time for pre-orders is the fist quarter of 2025. We will provide regular updates on the shipping progress via email.
Yes, you can cancel your pre-order within 14 days of your initial payment. Please contact our customer support team for assistance with cancellations.
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this to monitor the delivery status of your Boxlap kit. We will also inform you via email when it’s time to complete the second payment, before shipping begins.
Setup and Usage
Setting up BoxLap is simple. Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the user manual. You will just need to connect the monitor, and attach the laparoscopic tools and exercise modules.
Boxlap is designed as a complete training kit. You only need a screen with an HDMI connection to use the camera system.
BoxLap is compatible with any screen monitor that has an HDMI port. We recommend using a high-definition monitor for optimal visual feedback.
BoxLap includes a variety of exercise modules designed to enhance skills such as movement, suturing, and cutting. Each module focuses on different aspects of laparoscopic tool manipulation and improves hand-eye coordination.
BoxLap is a certified consumer product that meets established safety standards. However, it is important to note that it is not a medical device and should never be used in an actual medical environment. BoxLap and all included laparoscopic instruments are intended solely for skills training purposes.
Warranty and Returns
Yes, Boxlap comes with a 2- year warranty covering defects in material or software under normal use during the warranty period. The full warranty policy is included in the product packaging.
If your BoxLap kit arrives damaged, please contact our customer support team immediately. Be sure to inspect the packaging upon delivery. If the packaging is severely damaged, we recommend refusing to accept the delivery. In this case, we will handle the issue with the courier and arrange to resend your kit. If the outer packaging looks fine but the kit itself is damaged, report the issue to us within 3 days of receiving the product, and provide photos of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or provide a solution based on the extent of the damage.
If your BoxLap kit is eligible for a warranty replacement, it should be shipped to our offices. Alternatively, you can discuss with our customer support team to arrange a pickup. In either case, please contact our customer support department first, and they will guide you through the return process and assist with all necessary arrangements.
